    Description

    This is an old time favorite.

    Ingredients

    • 1/4 cup sauerkraut (split in half)
    • 4 tbsp Thousand Island Island dressing
    • 4 slices Swiss cheese
    • 4 slices rye bread
    • 1/2 pound corned beef, sliced
    • 4 tbsp butter, softened

    Directions

    1. Butter one side of 4 slices of rye bread.
    2. Place bread butter side down on heated griddle. Put Thousand Island Dressing on 2 slices and 2 pieces of swiss cheese on the other 2 slices of bread.
    3. Directly on griddle add 4 slices of corned beef and 1/4 cup sauerkraut to get warm. Once warm, place corned beef and sauerkraut on 2 slices of the grilled bread and put them together to make 2 sandwiches.
    4. Cut in half, corner to corner, and serve.
