    Description

    A sweet and satisfying breakfast for Christmas morning.

    Ingredients

    • 1 loaf french bread
    • 6 eggs
    • 1 cup brown sugar
    • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 2 cups almond milk

    Directions

    1. Slice bread in 1/2 inch slices and place in a 13 x 9 dish coated with a butter substitute.
    2. Mix eggs, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and almond milk together. Pour over bread. Cover with plastic wrap; place in refrigerator over night.
    3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    4. Put bread mixture in oven and bake 1 hour, or until light golden brown.
    5. Cut into squares.
    6. Serve with maple syrup.
