Alamos Malbec is made from grapes grown on the eastern slopes of the pre-Andean mountains of Mendoza. The Catena family has been making wine in the region for more than 100 years. Today, Catena is the acknowledged quality pioneer and ambassador for Argentine wines around the world. All vineyards are hand-harvested. At the winery, the grapes are sorted and chosen by a group of eighteen trained winery staff before they are pressed into each Alamos cuvee.
